A Preview of our World-First Insight Programme with PwC

Last week, we welcomed 150 of our members to preview our world-first insight programme with PwC. It was great to see so many businesses engaging with this new offering as we gathered at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho.

Our main speaker of the night was Megan Higgins, Director at PwC, who offered our members an exclusive preview of the initial findings of the programme, showcasing the valuable insights that it can offer. Compiled using three anonymised data sources; customer spend, travel and mobile network data, participating members will receive forward-looking insights and trends to aid their marketing and planning strategies. This programme is only as valuable as those who use it, and as Megan said, “the more members we have, the more insights we get, which means we can deliver more information, analytics and experiences in the West End.”

At New West End Company, we are continually reviewing how to offer our members the best service. Our COO, Dee Corsi, stressed that this new programme is a result of this. Our members have been integral to the development of this programme, and we would like to thank those who have helped ensure that it will add value to West End and Mayfair Businesses.

One such business was Longchamp, and we were joined on the panel by Paul Lorraine, Managing Director, UK & Ireland. Longchamp were one of our first members to sign up to this programme, and Paul explained that it was the quality of the forecasting information that attracted him to the programme. What sets this programme apart is that the insights are not based on historical data, but are forward looking, enabling retailers to be one step ahead of any activity.

We were also delighted to be joined by the Lord Mayor of Westminster, Cllr Lindsey Hall, who gave an overview of her work with YoungMinds, a leading charity fighting for children and young people’s mental health.

If your business has not yet signed up to the programme, there is still time. Please contact Danielle Purnell by the end of the week.
