New West End Company, in partnership with Westminster Property Association (WPA), are inviting members to a webinar, exploring Westminster City Council’s ambitions for the West End as it prepares for the arrival of Crossrail amidst the COVID-19 crisis.

The session will include an update on a £250 million plan to transform the Oxford Street District, and ensure it is ready for Crossrail and able to adapt to a rapidly changing retail landscape which has been hit particularly hard by the restrictions on movement.

The panel will look at how the area will rebuild when the crisis abates, and how Crossrail will support the ambitions for an innovative retail-led mixed use district serving 200 million visitors a year.

Speakers include:

  • James Cooksey, Director of Central London at The Crown Estate; New West End Company & WPA Board member (Chair)
  • Stuart Love, Chief Executive of Westminster City Council
  • Katherine Russell, Head of Real Estate, Planning, Policy & Commercial at John Lewis
  • Mark Wild, Chief Executive of Crossrail
