Green spaces and opportunities for carbon offsetting in Westminster

The council has pledged to work with businesses, residents, policy makers and communities to tackle climate change and achieve net zero carbon emissions across the city by 2040. Westminster City Council are pleased to invite you to take part in a series of business workshops to help shape a Climate Emergency action plan for Westminster setting out the city’s pathway to achieving the ambitious target.

Westminster’s green spaces and natural environment can play a critical role in removing carbon emissions and helping to offset emissions that we are unable to remove completely.

This session will explore opportunities for carbon offsetting and the benefits for biodiversity, health and wellbeing.
