The Pedicabs (London) Bill passed through the House of Commons

The Pedicabs (London) Bill has now passed through the House of Commons. Once implemented, the licensing system will have an immediate, positive impact for the West End. We thank Nickie Aiken MP and Westminster City Council for their tireless campaigning on this issue.

In response to the news, New West End Company Chief Executive, Dee Corsi said:

“The new regulation for pedicabs will be welcomed by businesses and members of the public alike. Nonetheless, we are concerned about the omission of e-bikes and scooters in this legislation, and we would urge a review of how they are regulated as part of a wider Transport Bill without delay.”
