JOB TITLE: Corporate Affairs Executive

DEPARTMENT: Corporate Affairs

REPORTING TO: Head of Corporate Affairs

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To support the Head of Corporate Affairs in contributing to the delivery of the Communications programme that supports New West End Company’s objectives with regular, relevant and effective communications to our members, partners and stakeholders.
  • To manage New West End Company’s corporate social media channels, creating content and posts to engage our members, partners and stakeholders.
  • To support the Corporate Events Manager in the organisation and delivery of New West End Company’s events programme

KEY TASKS

COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT

  • Copywriting for regular member email communications using CRM system HubSpot and member collateral.
  • Manage our corporate social media accounts in line with current best practice approaches, including sourcing and writing content to inform and engage key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and develop new content for the corporate website ensuing that it is in line with brand guidelines and publish on the website in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and track the success and growth of social media channels and campaigns.
  • Assist with public affairs, internal communications and branding communications as required.
  • Create New West End Company branded collateral including presentations for senior leadership and wider team where needed
  • Support ad-hoc projects across Corporate Affairs team

EVENT SUPPORT

  • Planning day-to-day activities pre-event, during event and post event in line with requirements to support Corporate Events Manager.
  • On the day event support and trouble shooting
  • Invitation preparation; distribution and tracking RSVP collation. Advising daily on responses and highlighting any challenges.
  • Creation of event artwork, e.g. directional signage and event invitations
  • Action all ad-hoc task

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Strong communicator, with exceptional writing and verbal skills.
  • Creative copy writer and keen attention to detail.
  • Experience of B2B media relations desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of how to manage multiple corporate social media channels.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and self-motivated.
  • Effective time management, experience of working under pressure and management of multiple projects.
  • Full Microsoft Office skills incl. PPT, Excel (formatting, formulas).
  • CRM experience (HubSpot, Mail Chimp) experience in addition to creation and dispatch system proficiency for event notifications, invitations, responses.
  • Proficient in use of Adobe suite (InDesign skills beneficial but not necessary)
  • Ability to maintain calmness under pressure with a can-do attitude.
