West End Community Trust was formed in the Spring of 2010 by a group of Soho residents who felt that the community was in danger of fragmenting. Their mission is to reduce social isolation among the residential population of the area.

They carry out their work in a number of ways including:

  • Monthly suppers – with entertainment and something to eat at St Anne’s Community Hall in Dean Street Soho
  • Monthly quiz at the 7 Dials Community Centre
  • Annual trip to Brighton – each summer they arrange a trip down to the coast that includes lunch
  • Silver Sunday – An afternoon tea histed at the Ham Yard Hotel
  • Christmas lunch
  • Digital inclusion – One to one sessions helping educate in the use of digital devices
  • Recycling donated devices – Redistribution of donated tech items such as phones, tablets and laptops to those who need them
