Glen Baxter Leads Multi-Generational Art Auction for Soho’s Last Remaining Primary School
This summer exhibition and charity auction showcases a diverse group of artists connected to Soho Parish Primary School, the last remaining school in London’s famous Soho district. Funds raised will support the school’s vital creative
programmes for local children and families.

Featured artists include Philip Sutton RA, Glen Baxter, Max Lamb and Olly Fathers among many others, and a display of pupils’ artwork in the window of the gallery celebrates the school’s nurturing of the next generation of artistic talent.

The exhibition is taking place in the gallery of The Bindery London, located on Hatton Garden and donated to the school for this charity event by Dorrington PLC.

About the Soho Parish PTA
Soho Parish Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a registered charity that supports the students and staff of Soho Parish Primary School with time, energy and much-needed resources. Our fundraising effort has enabled the school to improve
classrooms, run trips, host events, buy technology, support SEN, create garden and play areas and launch healthy eating initiatives. Every penny collected goes towards equipment, facilities and initiatives that improve children’s learning skills and well-being, ensuring that we send our students into tomorrow’s world well equipped for a happy, healthy and successful future.

Three Generations of Creative Legacy

This year’s auction highlights a rare and heart warming feature: three generations of London-based artists exhibiting together. Renowned artist Glen Baxter is joined by his wife Carole Baxter and their son Harry Baxter, all of whom have artwork in the show. Their grandchildren Edie and Freddie Baxter, ages 5 and 10, are current students at Soho Parish, and
their artwork is featured in the students’ mini-exhibition displayed in the gallery window — celebrating the school’s rich creative legacy.
