We engage with businesses to collaborate on a solution for the climate and ecological emergency

Find out how you and your business can work with New West End Company to collaborate and come together to address climate change. We are better together, for good.

Join Our Sustainability Steering Group

Our Sustainability Steering Group brings together key West End business colleagues who are driving the sustainability agenda of their businesses. By coming together once a quarter, the Steering Groups pave the way for our District response to the climate emergency.

Current members of our Sustainability Steering Group include:

The Business of Recycling Pilot Programme

Prepare your business for the new business recycling Regulations. New legislation is coming soon that will require all businesses, healthcare establishments and academic institutions to separate recyclable materials including glass, cans/tins, plastic, paper and card and food waste from general waste.

Westminster is one of five areas to pilot a new business support programme to inform and prepare businesses for the new regulations. We are working with WRAP – a global sustainability charity – and Westminster City Council to deliver the pilot, which will take place for 10 weeks between 16 February and 21 April 2023.

Too Good To Go

New West End Company has partnered with Too Good To Go, the app that addresses food waste by connecting customers to restaurants and stores that have unsold food surplus. Join more than 22,363 UK businesses selling their unsold food surplus items, instead of throwing them away or having them incinerated or sent to landfill.

The Annual West End Climate Summit

On the eve of Earth Day 2022, we are hosted our inaugural West End Climate Summit, bringing together key leaders to share knowledge, aspirations and tangible actions on how the business community can work collectively to consciously address the climate emergency.
